This is the kind of thing that should last a lifetime as it is made with only high quality materials: cast iron for the base plate, legs, spindle nut and crossbeam; beautiful sustainable beech for the basket and stainless steel for the handle. You’ll want to use this with a straining bag for best results.

Easy to clean, simply hose down with fresh water after use and dry with a clean cloth. Lubricate the non-food contact metal parts with food grade grease; this will also inhibit corrosion of these parts. Store in a clean, dry place.
