Beer-inspired Cider of the Week- Blakstoc 'Quicy Jo & Hops'

Beer-inspired Cider of the Week- Blakstoc 'Quicy Jo & Hops'

As it is ‘International Beer Day’ on Friday we looked for a beer related cider, something hopped (and no, we didn’t just choose our own Hopped Cider…) so we went for the amazing Blakstoc ‘Quincy Jo & Hops’. To be honest we LOVE all of Blakstoc’s cider but this one is superb. It smells like an IPA, and with the addition of hops it makes the perfect choice for our cider of the week to celebrate ‘International Beer Day’ on Friday.

Wimbledon-inspired Cider of the Week - Saxby's Strawberry Cider

Wimbledon-inspired Cider of the Week - Saxby's Strawberry Cider

As Wimbledon started this week we’ve selected an excellent strawberry cider from Saxby’s as our ‘Cider of the Week’. A lovely, apt cider to drink while enjoying the tennis!

Saxby’s are based on their family farm in Farndish, a small village on the Northamptonshire/Bedfordshire border. They grow their own apples in the orchards on the farm. These are carefully selected English cider varieties and dessert fruits which they slowly mature and expertly blend. Their award-winning range of ciders are pressed on their farm using real real cider and real fruit juices– no flavourings, syrups or nasties.
