We love cider - plain and simple!

Our mission is to challenge people’s perceptions of cider. It’s hugely diverse and many UK craft producers, as well as our international friends, are under-represented in urban drinking. Our aim is correct that – and to enjoy a few drinks with friends along the way!

The Pilango Story…

Having spent a few years in the West Country, and with a family history in apple production, cider runs in Victor’s blood.

Vic started small, transforming apples from family and friends' gardens into cider, experimenting with different twists and bringing a bang to parties and BBQ’s!

After a trip to Portland – a magical hub of US craft beer and cider - Vic decided to it was time to branch out from the corner of his Tooting garden and the cupboard under the stairs… a brand was being born.

We metamorphosed into Pilango – a flamboyant cider butterfly, turning heads, galvanising taste buds, and collecting and creating distinctive ciders for curious drinkers.

We started out in a tiny stall in Broadway Market in Tooting, and have since spread our wings and moved to a railway arch bar & shop in Fulham, serving and selling our own brand craft cider, as well as the largest international collection of craft cider in the UK!

We’ve won multiple awards (hurray for us!), including the 2019 Drinks Retailing Awards ‘Independent Cider Retailer of the Year’, and the 2019 ‘Independent Drinks Retailer of the Year 2019 - London & the South East’ at the Food & Drink Awards…

Whether you’re in London or not, we welcome you with open wings to come and visit us, and continue to follow our story on our blog and social media
